Kaitlyn Mueller Makes Her Theatrical Debut in Madame Butterfly Opera

Kaitlyn Mueller recently made her theatrical debut as "Sorrow" in the Boheme Opera presentation of Madame Butterfly, Puccini's most beloved opera.

 

Although a tragic story, Madame Butterfly is a staple in every opera company's repertoire as Puccini manages to bring the exotic and romantic together in this timeless piece. Kaitlyn had an impressive performance and was praised by her fellow performers and the show's director for her poise on stage in front of a packed house.

 

 

 

Kaitlyn Mueller Attends Workshop with Star of Broadway's Little Mermaid

Kaitlyn Mueller meets Sierra Boggess (Broadway's Ariel) in NY at the Little Mermaid Workshop held at Ripley-Grier Studios by A Class Act NY. Sierra taught song interpretation and vocal coaching, some scene work and a dance combo from the Little Mermaid and musical theatre audition techniques.

 

 

In November 2007 Sierra made her Broadway debut creating the title role in Disney’s The Little Mermaid. During her 2 years with the company she performed on “The Today Show”, “Good Morning America”, “NBC Today”, “The View”, “Entertainment Tonight”, “The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade”, and the “62nd Annual Tony Awards” as well as appeared in People Magazine and on the cover of USA Today with Mario Lopez and Megan Mullally. For her performance as Ariel, Sierra received both Drama League and Drama Desk nominations and was the recipient of a Broadway.com Audience Award for “Favorite Breakthrough Performance.
