Kirstianna and Kaitlyn have a busy schedule ahead of them for the next few months since capturing Miss Hemisphere's Youth Ambassador title.
Their first stop will be the Ronald McDonald House in Philadelphia. www.philarmh.org
The Ronald McDonald House provides a home away from home for 44 families of critically ill children. At the Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House you will find parents and siblings of sick children who understand each others' situations and provide emotional support to each other while their sick children are receiving the necessary treatment at local hospitals.
The twins will also participate in God's Love We Deliver annual fundraiser "Race to Deliver" in Central Park, NY now in its fifteenth year. Nearly 65,000 New Yorkers have joined the organization in its quest to raise over $8.5 million, providing more than three million meals for men, women and children living with HIV/AIDS, cancer and other life-altering illnesses since its inception. www.godslovewedeliver.org
Their last stop before the holidays will be collecting and delivering new, unwrapped toys for the Marine Toys For Tots Foundation www.toysfortots.org
Kirstie - "Helping others in need is a very important job. I am strong and I can lend a hand to others in need. It makes me feel good about the job I am doing and about myself."
Kaitie - "My parents have taught us to be very civic minded and lead by example. We need to come together, help each other and find cures for all these terrible diseases. I am glad for the opportunity to do my part."
Stayed tuned for pictures from each of the events.
