Lately, Kirstie and Kaitie are in New York quite often. Whether it be auditioning for TV Commercials, and print work or taking acting classes, Mom always tries to make the trip both educational and fun whenever time permits. On one such visit, Kirstie and Kaitie had the opportunity to visit the Statue of Liberty and take a nice boat ride to Ellis Island. Here is what they had to say:
Kirstie - "Did you know the Statue of Liberty was a gift to the United States of America from the people of France? That was sure nice of them. They must really like us a lot."
Kaitie - "Did you know that the Statue of Liberty has been around for over 100 years? She stands for hope and freedom for all people like you and me. She has been doing this for a long time. She's pretty old you know."
Alrighty then. Thanks girls. While they girls were there they had the opportunity to take pictures like this one. Many people touring the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island that day asked if they could take pictures with the twins. If you were one of the lucky 100 or so people who took a picture with the twins at the Statue of Liberty in September, we would love to hear from you. Just send us an email at [email protected]
