The twins participated in the God's Love We Deliver Charity race in New York's Central Park in November now in its 15th year. The charity race benefits those with HIV/AIDS, cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
Kirstianna and Kaitlyn will be joining the November 2008 Race to Deliver in Central Park, NY now in its fifteenth year. (God's Love We Deliver's largest annual fundraiser). Nearly 65,000 New Yorkers have joined them in their quest to raise over $8.5 million, providing more than three million meals for men, women and children living with HIV/AIDS, cancer and other life-altering illnesses since its inception.
The Race to Deliver is an event for the whole family featuring a 4-MIle Run/Wall and a Kids Fun Run with special distances for all age groups. God's Love We Deliver provides nutritious meals free of charge to people living with HIV/AIDS, cancer and other life-threatening illnesses throughout New York City and nearby Newark and Hudson County, New Jersey.
Kirstianna and Kaitlyn have a busy schedule ahead of them for the next few months since capturing Miss Hemisphere's Youth Ambassador title.
Their first stop will be the Ronald McDonald House in Philadelphia.www.philarmh.org
The Ronald McDonald House provides a home away from home for 44 families of critically ill children. At the Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House you will find parents and siblings of sick children who understand each others' situations and provide emotional support to each other while their sick children are receiving the necessary treatment at local hospitals.

Kirstie - "Helping others in need is a very important job. I am strong and I can lend a hand to others in need. It makes me feel good about the job I am doing and about myself."
Kaitie - "My parents have taught us to be very civic minded and lead by example. We need to come together, help each other and find cures for all these terrible diseases. I am glad for the opportunity to do my part."
